In June of 2021, Venom Anti-Cheat version 1.0 was released. It was the initial release and first big update of the entire anti-cheat script since having been used in beta for about 8 months prior. This version had a lot of ups and downs but was crucial to the growth and progression of the anti-cheat and a lot was learned.

Version 1.0 is now deprecated and while support is still provided, it no longer receives updates as the team looks forward and finishes development on the long awaited complete overhaul and rewrite of VenomAC, the version 2.0 update.

Version 1.0 will continue to remain available for purchase until the v2 beta is ready. This is to accommodate for customers with non-lifetime subscriptions.

Please note that version 2.0 is simply just a big update, not a new product, meaning that you do not have to purchase a new license if you already have one or more. All existing and new v1 customers will have their licenses automatically transferred once v2 is ready.

As of the date of this post, v2 is a work in progress. It is nearly complete, but not just not quite finished yet.
